I'm Gonna Change Baby, I Promise

So.  I have a giant 75 some such page paper due on March 12th.

Chances are slim you'll get any blog entries before then.

And if you do, it'll mean I'm not doing what I'm supposed to, so....

Anyway, things are gonna change around here On March 12th.

That is the day I truly start to live, blog-entry-writing wise at least.

Oh, but I am gonna post a thing Justin Gutterman wrote as guest blogger.

Best wishes my faithful public,
Tom

  1. Tom, feel free to guest blog on my blog while you're taking a blog hiatus. That way it will feel like secret procrastination.

  2. That's a keen understanding of my methods of procrastination you've exhibited just now.

  3. Hi Tom,
If you ever want some proofing/copyediting/editing help with your papers let me know. That's a monstro-size paper, and I'd be happy to help you get it done.

  4. Well, that's really nice of you, but I couldn't do that to you. Also, you probably are unfamiliar with bluebook citation formats. (he said in a distant, hopeful sort of way)

  5. Actually I just looked up Bluebook (18th ed.) citation examples. They're not bad. I worked on a lot of articles where I had to check hundreds of references--literally--and the Bluebook stuff looks fairly straight forward. I've had to learn a new style everywhere I've worked: APA, AP, Chicago...and numerous in-house styles. Old hat. :-)

So, offer always stands, and good luck with ze paper. :-)
